Nige recently worked on the ALFIE BOE CD with producer Chris Porter and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Nige has just recently returned from a short European tour with Chris de Burgh where Chris's new album, "The Storyman" is being promoted. It's the first time in 5 years Mr De Burgh has played with a band and the shows have been a major success.
On 13th January 2007, Nige is playing with Paul Young and his band, Los Pacaminos with Chris de Burgh band members Dave Levy and Al Vosper
In October 2006, Nige played Piano with the BBC Concert Orchestra on 4 songs with Chris de Burgh for the BBC2 show, Friday night is Music night. "It was a fantastic experience that I'll never forget, being wrapped up in such a cinematic sound of an orchestra. You almost feel as if you want to just sit and immerse yourself in the moment".
This year saw Nige program sounds for the Moog Little Phatty tribute and stage editions. It follows on from the fact that Nige contributed sounds to the Moog Voyager version 3 Upgrade and Electric blue edition.
Next year, Nige is paying a visit back to Moog Music in Asheville, NC to purchase another Moog Voyager. This time, it'll be a different cabinet and different backlighting. "My Voyager is too precious as it was signed by Bob Moog and I actually watched it being built. Although I took it on the road with Chris de Burgh, I would like it to be kept at home in my studio for fear of being damaged on the road".
On 11th November 2006, Nige played at the Royal Albert Hall on Remembrance day in front of Her Majesty, the Queen, Tony Blair and other dignitaries. It will probably be the last time the festival will be held as there aren't many World War One veterans left.
More compositions have been written for the new Toyshop Murders CD. News on the recordings will follow soon.
